Biografía de Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller nació el 30 de noviembre de 1965 en Nueva York, Estados Unidos. Su nombre completo es Benjamin Edward Stiller. De pequeño sus padres a menudo le llevaban a los platós donde actuaban y por eso mostró un temprano interés por el cine, realizando películas en Super 8 (un formato de película cinematográfica que utiliza un fotograma de 8 mm de ancho) con su hermana y sus amigos.

Consiguió un papel en una reedición de "The House of Blue Leaves" de John Guare en Broadway junto a John Mahoney, obra que ganaría cuatro Tonys. Su trabajo fue muy bien recibido y le permitió realizar un corto de 10 minutos llamado "The Hustler of Money", una parodia de la película de Martin Scorsese "El color del dinero" en la que Stiller hacía el papel de Tom Cruise y Mahoney el de Paul Newman pero en vez de jugar al billar jugaban a los bolos.

El corto llamó la atención y se emitió en Saturday Night Live en 1987, dos años después le ofrecerían un puesto de guionista en el citado programa. También tuvo un pequeño papel en la película producida y dirigida Steven Spielberg, "El imperio del sol", una película de corte bélico nominada a 6 Premios Oscar.

En mayo del 2000, Stiller se casó con Christine Taylor. En 2001 con Ben Stiller produjo, dirigió, fue el guionista y hasta actuó como protagonista junto a Owen Wilson en "Zoolander" en la que hubo unos cuantos cameos de famosos como el de Paris Hilton, Winona Ryder, David Bowie, Giorgio Armani, Jon Voight, Anna Wintour, entre otros.
