Biografía de Ashanti

Ashanti Shequoyia Douglas nació el 13 de octubre de 1980 en Glen Cove, Nueva York, Estados Unidos. Ashanti es conocida como una cantante de hip-hop y R&B quién alcanzó la fama a comienzos del año 2000.

Luego del éxito en su carrera musical, Ashanti ingresó al mundo del cine. En 2004, apareció en el Musical de Bollywood, "Bride & Prejudice", en el que cantó "My Lips Are Waiting".

En Enero del 2005 actuó en "Coach Carter", con Samuel L. Jackson. Apareció en el Musical Infantil "The Muppets & El Mago de Oz" y "John Tucker Must Die", gran éxito en USA y UK. Además, en 2007 tuvo un role en la película "Resident Evil: Extintion" protagonizada por Milla Jovovich.
