Biografía de Helena Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter nació en Londres, Inglaterra el 26 de mayo de 1966, Helena es una actriz que obtuvo una nominación al Premio Oscar como mejor actriz en 1997 por la película "Las alas de la paloma", también conocida por sus actuaciones en Howards End, Fight Club , Harry Potter y Sweeney Todd.

Protagonizó su primera película en 1986, Una habitación con vistas, del director James Ivory, con el cual también repetiría en El regreso de Howards End. Fue nominada a un Globo de Oro y al Oscar por su actuación en Las alas de la paloma de Ian Softley.

En el 2007 interpretó a Bellatrix Lestrange, también conocida como Bella es uno de los personajes de Harry Potter creados por J.K. Rowling, en la película de Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix, role que le valió muy buenas críticas, a pesar de su corta aparición en la película, y repetirá su papel para la siguiente entrega en julio de 2009, en Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe, que allí su role tiene mucho más protagonismo. La actriz comenzará, además, en julio de 2009, las grabaciones de las dos últimas películas de Harry Potter.

Compartió su vida sentimental entre los años 1994 y 1999 con el actor y director Kenneth Branagh. Helena Bonham Carter está ligada sentimentalmente al director de cine Tim Burton desde el año 2001, al que conoció en el rodaje de "Planet of the apes" (El planeta de los simios, 2001). La pareja tiene dos hijos, un varón llamado Billy, y una niña nacida en diciembre de 2007, llamada Nell.
