Biografía de Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl nació el 24 de Noviembre de 1978 en Washington, District of Columbia, Estados Unidos. Comenzó su carrera como modelo, y sus primeras apariciones en televisión a los 12 años de edad, su debut en la gran pantalla fue en la película "Aquella Noche" (That Night, 1992), tiempo después en la pequeña pantalla le llegaría otro éxito con la serie Roswell con el personaje de Isabel.

Otros créditos en distintas series para la TV incluyen Romy and Michelle, Vegas Dick, Behind The Velvet Rope, Evil Never Dies y volvió a un role protagonista con la serie Grey's Anatomy, como Izzie Stevens.

En diciembre del 2006 consiguió una nominación a los globos de oro a mejor actriz secundaria en miniserie por el papel de Izzie Stevens. En septiembre de 2007 consigue un Emmy a mejor actriz secundaria en serie drama por su papel de Izzie Stevens en Grey's Anatomy.
